Citizens with disabilities and friends:
You're invited to participate in UCAN,
United Citzens' Action Network!
Choose a location to find a UCAN group in your area.
Working with our member organizations, United is bringing together consumers from multiple disability groups, providing legislative advocacy and leadership training, and supporting them in advocating for increased housing opportunities for themselves and others.
We are educating consumers on their rights, informing residents of the growing need for affordable housing, and educating decision makers about the benefits of providing housing for low-income and homeless individuals with disabilities. It's important that our advocacy efforts represent the needs and priorities of consumers; no one can articulate that better than they can.
